The 2015 Urban Gun Violence Think Tank, hosted by Boldminds LLC is a one-day Educational Intensive for Contemporary Professionals, City Officials, Community Leaders, Educators, and Parents seeking effective protocols, concepts practices and applications to examine sustainable solutions to the causes and ongoing effects of Urban Gun Violence in New Haven and other urban cities in Connecticut. Even though reports have shown that violent crime has declined in urban cities nationwide, urban gun crime still remains a chronic issue facing young Black. Hispanic and Latino men in America.

Following the 2015 Urban Gun Violence Think Tank, a final product/summary report will be drafted and published on http://youngurbanmales.com/ with suggestions and recommendations from the group to be used as a resource tool for the public.

History on Urban Gun Violence Think Tank
The first Think Tank on Urban Gun Violence was held in New Haven October of 2006. For almost a decade several others have been held throughout the city. See 2009 Gun Violence Awareness Month.

Press and media will not be able to sit in on the Think Tank session. However, arrangements can be made for interview prior to the event.
