The 2015 Urban Gun Violence Think Tank, hosted by Boldminds LLC is a one-day Educational Intensive for Contemporary Professionals, City Officials, Community Leaders, Educators, and Parents seeking effective protocols, concepts practices and applications to examine sustainable solutions to the causes and ongoing effects of Urban Gun Violence in New Haven and other urban cities in Connecticut. Even though reports have shown that violent crime has declined in urban cities nationwide, urban gun crime still remains a chronic issue facing young Black. Hispanic and Latino men in America.
The Black Man’s Think Tank (2014)
In 2014, over 50 men of color under the age of 55 from the Greater New Haven County Area who work in various professions agreed to participate as a thinker and solution creator for the 2014 Urban Think Tank theme: “Black Man’s Think Tank” #BMTT. The 2014 Urban Think Tank, hosted by Boldminds LLC, “Black Man’s Think Tank” was a three-part Educational Intensive for Contemporary Black Male Professionals seeking effective protocols, concepts practices, applications and public policies in order to bring immediate, short and long-term solutions to the chronic issues facing young Black men in America.
